Well, I made it.
No major disasters, I made it back in one piece and in the same vehicle I left in.
I got back about 6:30 after a traditional NOVA welcoming of a traffic jam in Sterling on Rt. 7. Awesome. The truck nearly over heated in the stop and go traffic. To make it across the country and back only to melt down five miles from home would have been perfectly ironic, but I bailed and took a side road.
So, apologies may be in order. After going back and reading the posts, it is kind of hard to follow. This is most likely due to the fact that it was easier to put up stories and text than it was to find a WiFi connection with decent upload speeds for pictures, so it has ended up a little disjointed with stories followed by the referenced pictures several posts later. I still have the whole return trip to post up, so I'll try to organize so it's easier to follow. Then I'll probably close this adventure with some specific posts on fire stuff and Rovers followed by a final summation. I just finished up the Banff hiking adventure, so tomorrow I'll begin with the start of the return trip. Good stories and pics to follow, I promise. Thank you for being a virtual passenger on this wild ride.
