I'm starting this little adventure in blogging because as most of you know, I like to write. Long winded e-mails or lengthy trip reports are pretty common from me. Other social media formats feel limiting when sharing a trip with family and friends like this so blogging it shall be.
This blog is in the spirit of "Travels with Charley", "Blue Highways" and "Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure". If you haven't read any of these three, go out and find them.
The name? OnManuevers. My uncle uses that phrase to describe his general wanderings, discoveries, and occasional up-to-no-good when he's on trips. Kind of appropriate for me, isn't it?
